Andy has been with the company for over 23 years, with more than 25 years’ audiovisual experience.
With his expertise and knowledge, plus a degree in Electronic Engineering, Andy will work with you to enable your ideas to become a reality. From your initial thoughts and enquiry, Andy will work with you to explore the practicalities including design and costs. His experience will take you through the installation, and ensure effective aftercare and maintenance.

Jack Baker

Jack is an AV Integration Operations and Project Manager with over 16 years of multidisciplinary engineering experience across mechanical, electrical, IT and telecommunications. He brings a strong commitment to customer service and is a collaborative, process-driven professional known for delivering efficient and effective project outcomes. Having led maintenance and support services, Jack is dedicated to advancing operational excellence and project delivery, ensuring the customer remains central to every solution. Outside of work, he maintains an active lifestyle, enjoys travel, and keeps abreast of emerging AV and IT technologies.

With over seventeen years of experience of being in the team, Ray has developed valuable knowledge and experience, especially in working in complex historical buildings. In his role, Ray creates technical design , managing drawings, calibrating the schematics and rack elevations and ensuring the team have what they need for the installs and maintenance. With a background in theatre engineering and City & Guilds in Electrical Technical Engineering, he understands and knows how to develop your systems, and maximise the potential within the setting of the solution.

Jon works mainly in the programming and IT areas of the audiovisual solutions that we design, create and provide.
With extensive knowledge of all areas of AV, Jon creates intuitive touchscreen control solutions using the latest Crestron hardware and software techniques bring your AV system to life. Jon is a key member of the team, who’s expertise run throughout our projects, from initial client consultancy through to the final commissioning, he works with the team to bring all the elements together via a considered and user-friendly experience. In his spare time, Jon doesn’t stand still as he enjoys skydiving, climbing, cycling, swimming, hiking, going to the gym, coffee, whisky and eating any type of cake.

Dave is a cable specialist building his expertise from the broadcast industry.  Dave doesn’t leave a rack untidily wherever he works, ensuring the cables look as good as the AV they deliver.  When he’s not at work Dave enjoys spending time with his family.

With 10 years experience in theatre and events, Ash has a broad skill set with his can-do attitude and ability to adapt his skills to whatever AV technology he is given. He’s an excellent team member who always prioritises the client’s needs, and communicates clearly when commissioning and training end users of all abilities on AV systems. Ash is committed to growing his experience and competencies in AV installations and keeping up with technological advances.

When he’s not at work, Ash enjoys hiking and climbing, (when he has the time)

Nicholas Adams

Nick is our Maintenance and Support Engineer, joining with hands-on experience in AV networking and live event tech from his time in broadcast hire and large-scale production environments. With a BA (Hons) in Film Production and holding a Dante 2 Level certification, he’s a fresh, multi-skilled engineer with a genuine passion for problem-solving under pressure and communicates well with clients and colleagues alike.   Just as driven outside of work, Nick recently got his Advanced Open Water diving certificate out in Indonesia, and when he’s not at the gym or out hiking, you’ll probably find him at a festival somewhere.

Buz Ross

Managing Director

As Managing Director of the Whitwam Group, Buz works with Andy and the audiovisual team to expand and develop new technology and training.
With over 23 years of experience in audio visual production management, he now spreads his time between event production, video production, AV integration, and directing the business but will always find time to discuss a requirement or idea that needs some enthusiasm and energy.

Debbie Hillyard

Debbie has been with the group since 2010. When Debbie isn’t supporting the team and generally whipping everything into shape she is riding or taking care of her horse and spending time with her family.

Chloe Wheywell

With over 20 years of experience developing and executing marketing strategies, driving leads with digital and traditional advertising, promotions, events and campaigns, Chloe enjoys writing content and showcasing the talented team and their projects. When not at work, she teaches yoga, swims in very cold water and enjoys cooking for the family and friends.
