To accommodate an increasing demand for global communications, the Society turned to Whitwam AVI to design and install a new state-of-the-art video system whose main function is webcasting and high definition video recording. For the Ondaatje Lecture Theatre we installed a 4k 3-chip high output laser projector with 8k matrix switching system. 4k cameras and 4k monitors were also integrated, as well as camera and vision control surfaces. The existing projector at the Education Centre was upgraded to a 2k 3-chip high output laser unit, and a digital radio microphone was added to the audio system.
