Southwark Cathedral

Southwark Cathedral stands at the oldest crossing point of the River Thames at what was for many centuries the only river entrance to the City of London.

The organ loft is of particular note, where Whitwam AVI has designed and installed a low latency twin screen HD touch screen-controlled organist’s monitor system with four pan-tilt-zoom cameras. The system provides views of the conductor in the Nave or Quire locations along with general views of the Cathedral. An audio feed from the Nave Choir position is relayed to local loudspeakers or headphones at the organ console.
