St George’s Chapel, Windsor Castle

Whitwam AVI undertook a comprehensive refit of the sound and vision systems at the Chapel over a period of several months, resulting in the design and installation of a very discreet colour-matched loudspeaker system. Both wired and handheld wireless microphones provide flexibility of use, while the main control system enables loudspeaker zone selection, microphone switching and selection of radio microphones, control of the CD recorder/player, selection of the induction loop, control of the music microphones and all volume levels. The organ loft benefits from the installation of a customised organists’ video and audio monitor system. A sound relay system is also installed to cover the exterior environs of the Chapel and is used for major public events.
