The Great Hall, Winchester
The Great Hall at Winchester is of the finest surviving aisled halls from the 13th century, and contains the greatest symbol of medieval mythology, King Arthur's Round Table.
Whitwam AVI has designed and installed a new touch screen-controlled speech and music sound system in the Great Hall with both fixed and radio microphones to ensure a rewarding experience. The Great Hall is a renowned venue for weddings, meetings and medieval banquets, and is much in demand as a period drama film set, facilitated by the installation of stacked pairs of loudspeakers on poles mounted into the floor, which can be easily removed for filming.
