The Royal College of Ophthalmologists
The Royal College of Ophthalmologists is conveniently located in central London and offers several venue spaces for hire including the Lecture Theatre, Council Room, Skills Centre and Training Room, all now equipped with advanced audio-visual facilities designed and installed by Whitwam AVI.
The Lecture Theatre features three HD LCD screens, programme and speech sound systems, and wireless and wired microphones. Webcast facilities are also available. The Training Room system is touch screen-controlled and consists of an HD LCD display, local laptop inputs and a video link to the adjacent Skills Centre, where the microscopes are fitted with cameras that can display selected images on the local large HD LCD screen, the HD screen in the Training Room and the HD screen in the Lecture Theatre. Two-way audio and a video link to the lecture theatre is also provided. The Council Room is equipped for professional touch screen-controlled video conferencing facilities with four HD LCD displays and local laptop inputs. Voice enhancement is provided by sixteen microphone/speaker conference units. In the Reception area a digital signage solution has been installed.
