Theatre Royal, Winchester
Whitwam AVI designed, supplied and installed a digital signage system incorporating a 2 x 2 video wall and projection facility for the bar area in the 400-seat Edwardian-style theatre at the Theatre Royal in Winchester.
Four further HD LCD screens are installed in the ground floor foyer with an additional HD LCD screen located adjacent to the balcony entrance. The first floor bar is also equipped with an HD LCD signage screen, linked to the theatre video camera and sound system providing a lounge facility. A four-camera web streaming system is installed in the auditorium with the vision mixer and camera control unit located in the control room. The Theatre’s Meeting Rooms also benefit from new Teams or Zoom video conferencing systems.
