Whitwam AVI is the specialist AV installation and integration division of Whitwam Group, an independent and privately owned company that first opened for business in 1909.

Although the original shop in Winchester’s High Street closed many years ago, the ethos of the company remains as accurate today as it did in 1909, focussed on integrity and a commitment to supplying the very best solutions. The AV installation and integration division has evolved in recent decades alongside the changing world of technology and venue requirements, allowing us to expanded our range and knowledge base. We still work with many of our original clients, guiding them through the progression of technological modernisation.

Although Whitwam AVI is best known for its successful work in houses of worship, we also support many societies and scientific bodies in London and around the UK, where we are careful to maximise the benefits of advanced AV in complex listed and historic buildings while creating minimal impact. Corporate locations are different again in allowing us to install and integrate systems as part of the original building plan rather than retrofitting. In other sectors we’ve installed the latest LED walls, digital booking systems and specialist video collaboration systems in the headquarters of global energy companies. Alongside the corporate sector we are active in the public sector across education, the emergency services, and county and city councils. Our work in education and youth care has enabled caregivers and social work teams to facilitate independence for young adults while protecting themselves and others, also providing a secure environment for vulnerable children to discuss their needs with social workers.

Being part of a larger group enables us to offer solutions to more complex specifications, providing a complete solution rather than only a small part of it. The other two elements of the company are: designed. event production which supports a diverse range of corporate events, conferences, product launches, award dinners and ceremonies for national and international brands and providing unparalleled service to creative agencies that partner with them; and videofrog, launched in 2013 to satisfy the increasing demand for corporate video production services. By creating a dedicated, focused team, we have gone from strength to strength in delivering first-class quality service across all sectors of AV.
