With gilded walls, bas-reliefs by Italian sculptor Ceccardo Fucigna and a fine manual organ, the chapel at London’s Royal Holloway College is widely celebrated as one of the world’s most beautiful university buildings. Completed in 1886, the non-denominational chapel remains an active place of worship for students and tutors of multiple faiths, as well as a focal point for the broader college community. Yet for all its splendour, the chapel is highly reverberant, having proven itself to be too much of a challenge for previous sound reinforcement systems. St George’s Chapel at Windsor ranks amongst the UK’s most treasured examples of British heritage. Originally built in the 15th century by King Edward IV, the chapel has been the scene of many royal services and weddings and is regarded as one of the most beautiful ecclesiastical buildings in England. It is characterised by large windows and tall, slender pillars giving the impression of grace and elegance, while the quire features outstanding examples of medieval woodwork and ironwork.

The Plaisterers’ Hall is the largest and one of the finest Livery Halls in London. Opened in 1972 and situated in the heart of the City of London at One London Wall, it reflects the grandeur of a bygone era but in an ultra-modern setting. The décor is neo-classical in style, with designs created by Robert Adam in the 18th century faithfully reproduced in great detail both on plaster and wood.
