To achieve this significant technological step forward they turned to Whitwam AVI to design and install a touch screen-controlled speech and music system consisting of custom painted small satellite loudspeakers in the Nave, side aisles and Chancel, linked with a sub bass loudspeaker. The system is provided with a variety of microphones including wired microphones with integral on/off controls for the lectern and Pulpit, as well as pocket and hand held radio microphones. An induction loop system was also installed covering the Nave and side aisles. Additional vision systems include an HD laser projector, electric screen with motorised screen lift, and a single pan-tilt-zoom webcast camera. The touch screen control system enables the selection of loudspeaker zones, wired and radio microphone on/off switching for the wired and radio microphones, and control of all volume levels. The vision systems include an HD laser projector and a motorised screen with screen lift. Laptop inputs are fitted at the Chancil Arch and also at the west end of the church. The touch screen also enables control of the projector on/off, screen up and down, input selection and laptop audio volume. A single camera pan-tilt-zoom webcast camera has also been installed.
