St Paul’s Church, Knightsbridge
Founded in 1843, St Paul's Church Knightsbridge is a Grade II listed Anglican Church located in the heart of London. Whitwam AVI installed a new speech reinforcement system and induction loop facility designed to provide improved audio quality and ease of use, consisting of custom painted column loudspeakers in the Nave and balcony.
Fixed microphones are supplied for the lectern and Pulpit, each microphone being fitted with an on/off button and a live LED indicator, while hand held and pocket radio microphone systems are also available. The touch screen control system, with connection points at the rear of the Nave and in the Quire, enables selection of loudspeaker zones, microphone on/off switching, selection of radio microphones, control of the CD recorder/player, induction loop hearing system on/off switching, control of the music microphones and all volume levels. In 2021 we designed and installed a webcast facility with five HD remote pan-tilt-zoom cameras and three fixed HD cameras. A software vision mixer and hardware camera control station is also provided.
