The Geological Society, London
The Burlington House headquarters of the Geological Society sought an upgrade of its outdated AV systems, partly driven by the Society's needs to communicate with Fellows in other regions of the world by harnessing the power of web streaming technologies, and turned to Whitwam AVI to design and build an integrated audio-visual solution for sound, vision and control.
The touch screen-controlled AV system incorporates an HD laser projector with HD matrix switching, four HD cameras for webcasting and recording, and HD monitors plus camera and vision control surfaces. This is combined with complete programme sound and speech reinforcement loudspeakers systems. For the Council Room we also designed and installed a touch screen-controlled AV system of an HD projector, motorised screen and discreet audio system.
